For launch, we kept the Board of Directors small, but once we have proven that Giving Forward can deliver millions in cause marketing donation revenue to other nonprofits, we’ll expend the board.

Founding Board Members (alphabetical order):

Rick Bruner: CEO of Central Control and US Vice Chair of I-COM, is an expert in the field of measuring the impact of advertising. He has managed product/research teams at DoubleClick, Google, Marketing Evolution and Viant. He is the founder and moderator of the influential Research Wonks forum for marketing scientists. A former Ad Age reporter and book author (“Net Results: Web Marketing that Works,” and “Net Results.2: Best Practices for Web Marketing”), he served as Co-Chair of the IAB Research Committee and shared in winning a David Ogilvy from the Advertising Research Foundation, among other accomplishments. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.

Marc Goldberg:

In his 20-plus years in the media industry, Marc Goldberg has been on multiple sides of the aisle.
He started at the agency side JWT and Zenith Media.
He then went over to the sales and publisher side. GM at Howstuffworks, CEO at dailyRx and the SVP of Business Development at About.com.
as well as the ad tech sector as CEO of Trust Metrics.

Now Marc is the CEO at Stages Collective.

Marc serves on Advisory Boards and advises multiple start ups including The 614 Group, Plated.com, Cups.
He is also and Advisory Board Member at Rutgers University Design Thinking Certificate Program.
He has participated as a mentor for Techstars NY, 500 Startups, and Entrepreneur Round Table Accelerators.

Leslie Laredo: Leslie’s online media career started in 1982 selling local videotex ads. She then joined the first commercial online service, Prodigy, spending 6 years there (1986-1992) as a national sales executive, selling the first online campaigns utilizing online targeting and interactive creative.

Her next online move was to Ziff Davis Interactive in 1992, where she helped launch the Interchange Online Network, which was the first magazine publisher’s effort to utilize online formats and distribution. In 1995, Leslie launched the first Internet sales rep organization, Network 1.0, which was sold to Softbank. Then in 1996, Leslie made two additional significant investments in the digital media industry, the founding of the IAB (she was one of the original board members) and the launch of The Laredo Group, which has been responsible for raising the bar of performance in the digital media industry over the last decade by teaching the essentials all online professionals need to be successful…in an in-depth, unbiased and product-agnostic manner.

Kevin Lee: Kevin is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Didit a leading digital-first marketing firm started in 1996, and the CEO of the eMarketing Association. Known as the “godfather of SEM and SEO” Kevin transformed Didit into a full-service digital-first marketing firm through 11 acquisitions. Kevin invents marketing solutions for clients and launches stand-alone platforms, including We-Care generating $8+ million for nonprofits via cause-marketing. A Digital Marketing pioneer, Kevin was a founding SEMPO.org board member, has written 4 books, engaged in 500+speaking engagements, and published 700+ articles. Kevin received his MBA from Yale and lives in Scarsdale with his family.
